Here at Big Buoy we’re proud to have collaborated with CHI & Partners and Friend Productions on an ambitious series of 10-second spots for Argos. The “80 Days of Argos” campaign which launched on 7th April will see a new TV ad broadcast every day for 80 days. This huge undertaking is a world first which took 17 days to shoot, 27 in offline and 55 days of Post production!
The campaign focuses on how customers can truly “seize today”, with the Argos Fast Track delivery service. These spots draw their inspiration from both national and worldwide events. For example the much-loved Star Wars character BB8 toy darting along on a treadmill for Star Wars day on May 4th, and a fitbit wielding robot crossing the finish line to mark the start of the London marathon.
The campaign will continue to run till August 22 at which point everyone involved will have a well earned rest.
